Indirect Tax Analyst/Senior Analyst

We are currently looking for a newly created Indirect Tax Analyst/Senior Analyst position as part of the growth and expansion plans of my client within the APAC region.

With offices all over the globe, they work with the most demanded brands to provide high-quality services and solutions to their customers globally. They are now expanding their Tax team, looking for an Indirect Tax Analyst/Senior Analyst to join their team.

Description

Reporting to the APAC Tax Manager, you will work closely with the local country accountants across the region for the main focus of reviewing VAT/GST returns, provide country or regional indirect tax advice to various departments/stakeholders and support all Indirect Tax Audits. You will also be supporting the Tax Manager in analyzing and implementing best practices and controls related to sensitive processes, contributing to the business as the SME within the region for any Indirect Tax matters/processes.

Profile

You must possess at least a degree in Accountancy with at least 4 years of experience coming from a Big Four environment ideally coupled with Commercial exposure in a MNC set-up. You must also be able to read Mandarin as you will be engaging counterparts in the North Asian region frequently. You possess an analytical mind and a keen interest in analysis coupled with a strong commercial acumen. You are proactive and a problem solver who possess excellent communication skills that will be required to work with a wide range of stakeholders.
