The Baker Hughes Banking Operations is responsible for managing all transactional activity related to bank account management across the global footprint by supporting the development of capabilities of the Treasury Shared Services operations, including activities related to global bank administration processes, online banking portals systems administration and payment systems support.

You will be engaged in the accounting of the Cash and Cash pool portfolio, monitoring and reconciling of position for cash and cash pool portfolio for the Treasury function, as well as the Global reporting of the Baker Hughes Cash Pool portfolio. You will be supporting the development of capabilities of the Treasury Shared Services operations, also related to global bank administration processes, online banking portals systems administration and payment systems support.

As a Cash and Cash pool Accountant, you will be responsible for:

  • Maintenance of the cash pool activities within our TMS system Quantum
  • Preparation and Distribution of the Global Cash pool Reporting package to s controllership and COE teams for recording of accounting in ERPs
  • Responsible for resolution of open cash items in Cash Ops reconciliation within Quantum TMS system.
  • Responsible for reconciling of Treasury bank reconciliations between Quantum and ERP
  • Preparing Global reconciliations in Blackline systems for cash and intercompany.
  • Reviewing control tables to reconcile lender and borrower positions within Baker Hughes cash pool portfolio
  • Ensuring cash pool funding compliance of internal controls and adherence of policies & procedures.
  • Support internal and external audit queries as required
  • Various Adhoc projects as required

To be successful in this role you will:

  • Have a Bachelor's degree from an accredited university or college (or a high school diploma / GED with some years of experience in Finance).
  • Have an impressive compliance and controllership mindset.
  • Have solid analytical skills.
  • Have good interpersonal and communication skills and full professional proficiency in English
  • Have excellent computer skills with Microsoft applications
  • Have the ability to work either European or US Time zones
