The role has arisen through positive growth and developments within the firm.

This accountancy practice based in Bideford, with a number of directors and team of long serving staff, offers the range of general accountancy services to a varied client base of sole traders, partnerships and limited company OMBs and SMEs, across wide ranging industries and turnovers, typically up to circa £8 million pounds in turnover on larger clients. The firm has developed a very strong presence and reputation and provides a very good working environment for practice background professionals, to carve long term career moves.
Description
Joining as an Accounts Senior, based at their Bideford offices you will prepare accounts, tax and wider services for a varied client base of sole traders, partnerships and limited companies, all sub audit threshold in turnover, with clients ranging into the millions in turnover on larger concerns. The industry range is very varied and they require a hands on accountant, preparing accounts, personal and corporate tax returns, VAT and providing other general accountancy practice services, to this firms client base. You will sit between the trainees, reporting to the manager and partner, carving a key position within this team.
Profile
You will have at least 2 - 4 years or more experience, specifically gained within an accounting firm environment, as an Accounts Senior, or similar level, preparing accounts, tax, bookkeeping and providing other services to sole traders, partnerships and limited companies. You may hold AAT, ACCA part qualified or at finalist levels, or you may be experienced only, with significant experience in practice and be looking for new challenging opportunity, within a growing firm of accountants.
Job Offer
£18,000 - £28,000 dependent on experience and background.
