Executive (Financial Accounting) - Group Intake
1) Financial Accounting
Plan and execute the financial statements for the business on a monthly, quarterly and annual basis by ensuring the financial statements of the business are in accordance with the established accounting policies and procedures, applicable accounting standards as well as implementation of new accounting standards through assessment of the accounting standards, analysis on the impact, develop options and recommendations for the purpose of management information and decision making.
2) Statutory reporting
Plan and execute the year end audit activities and production of audited financial statement through effective execution of audit plan, preparation of audited financial statements, audit schedules, planning for allocation of resource, liaise with auditors and stakeholders as well compliance with the established accounting policies and procedures and applicable accounting standards for accuracy and completeness of the statutory reporting.
3) Month-end closing
Plan and execute the monthly, quarterly and year end accounts closing activities by ensuring accuracy and completeness of revenue, cost of revenue and general administrative accounting records, monitoring of accruals and prepayment and timely resolution of issue to ensure accuracy and integrity of data to be used for financial reports produced to the Business on a timely manner and informative to the relevant stakeholders.
4) Project accounting & fixed assets management
Plan and execute an effective Project & Fixed Assets and Insurance management through consistent assets monitoring and validation, timely recognition of capital expenditure with subsequent project capitalisation and componentisation, asset valuation and disposal de-recognition as well as insurance renewal and claim activities based on applicable accounting standards in order to ensuring all project in progress and fixed assets are properly managed, valued and recorded.
5) Taxation/Tax reporting
Plan and execute the tax reporting activities through preparation of Annual Tax Return, monthly tax provision, tax schedules, tax estimates and analyse any tax query by ensuring completeness and compliance with Corporate Income Tax, Goods and Services Tax Act and other regulations/ruling for submission to PETRONAS Group Tax, Inland Revenue Board (‘‘IRB’’), Royal Malaysia Custom Department and other relevant tax authorities to avoid any tax leakages and penalty simultaneously maximise tax benefit and value to the business.
