The opportunity

Established in 2016, Equals Trust is a Multi Academy Trust based on equality of opportunity and collective progress, while enabling schools to maintain their own unique identities. The trust's Leadership Group comprises of head teachers from each member schools who work together to drive provision forward for all schools. The Leadership Group have their own budget to fund initiatives to the benefit of all. 12 primary-age schools comprise the trust, supported by an experienced and supportive Executive Team, headed up by Phil Palmer, CEO, who has a proven track record in leadership and School Improvement. The Trustees are skilled and experienced in leadership, education strategy, change management, finance, buildings management, personnel and standards. All of the trust's schools are all currently rated at least 'Good' by Ofsted. The trust has a budget of approx. £23m, and employs 500 staff to support its 3200 learners.

  • To meet the needs of the trust's schools and their own school populations, regardless of the diverse needs of families and the local area.
