Our client is a rapidly expanding logistics business and due to continued growth they have a newly created role within the business as Financial Controller / Finance Manager / Company Accountant.
This is a highly varied, hands-on role where you report directly to the Board and you will manage 1 Accounts Assistant and will oversee all aspects of accounting and financial management for the business. As this is a newly created role there is great scope to make this role your own by improving processes and systems, introducing MI and bringing things like management accounting in house from the external accountants. The business has recently expanded into freight so you will also have the opportunity to lead various projects such as setting up an FX strategy for the business.
This is a great opportunity to really add value and develop the role and we are looking for energetic, self-starters who would embrace the autonomy that this role offers. You will need strong all round accounting skills and any experience in a similar industry would be beneficial. Interviews are ongoing so apply now
