Our client is a well-established family run business in the Driffield area who have been established for over 50 years. Due to a restructure and continued growth, they are now looking for a Finance Manager to come in and head up the finance function.
Reporting to the Managing Director you will be preparing the monthly management accounts, analysing and posting journals of accruals and prepayments, processing the profit and loss and balance sheet reports as well as complex cash flow management and accurate forecasting.
You will also need to manage the financing of high capital items, hire purchase agreements, the asset register, curtailments and depreciation. Providing regular reports to the management team as well auditing stock from their suppliers.
That's why we are looking for a Finance Manager who has worked in a similar role from within an SME. Someone who has experience of family run businesses, leading them through a period of growth with the ability to set up new systems and procedures, as well as getting involved in all aspects of accounting from the ground up.
As you would be creating and analysing a variety of reports for the management team, strong experience with MS Excel is essential with the attention to detail to match. Previous experience of other accounting software is advantageous as they can then show you their own CRM.
We are very flexible at looking for a candidate who is either fully qualified (CIMA / ACCA / ACA etc), part qualified or qualified by experience. For this role we are looking at what you can bring to the business and the skills and experience you have had before.
This is a full-time position working Monday to Friday, there is car parking available, 25 days holiday plus bank holidays as well as the flexibility to work from home occasionally.
