Finance Business Partner - Manufacturing

Elevation Senior Finance is working with a well-established Manufacturing business based in Scarborough that has a rare opportunity for a driven Finance Business Partner to provide essential business planning and forecasting to the Finance Function. You will be working closely with senior management to increase the company's efficiency and profitability by assisting with the formulation of both the medium and long-term financial plan. This is a brand new opportunity as a result of recent key strategic changes and restructure within the business.

Duties & Responsibilities:

-Producing models to project long term growth and determine the impacting business factors -Analysing financial and operational results to better understand company performance -Utilising BI tools to deliver meaningful insights into business performance -Work with the leadership team and respective departments to build annual budgets and re-forecasts -Lead on product costing, including labour and material and develop reporting methods to compare actual output to standard costings -Preparing business cases to support new investment, strategic and other business decisions -Communicating results and recommendations to senior management for improvements that will lead to cost reduction, revenue generation and streamlining operations -Budget development, budgetary control, forecasting, financial modelling, and the development, design and implementation of systems and controls, financial policies, and procedures -Effectively project manage appropriate cross-functional projects when required -Provide comprehensive and compelling financial perspective to operating issues -Participate in business tactical and strategic discussions -Identify opportunities for business improvement

Elevation Accountancy & Finance would be keen to speak with candidates with the following skills and experiences:

-CIMA, ACCA OR ACA Qualified -Recent relevant experience in Manufacturing -Stakeholder management and influencing -Commercial and operational decision support -Strong IT & Modelling skills, including advanced Excel
