Accounting Advisor

What you’ll achieve

As an Accounting Advisor, you will have an integral role to play in the accounting team. Working with a number of key Dell sites, you will be responsible for preparing income, balance sheets, consolidated and other statements.

• Support Unified Inventory Program (UIP) project for Dell Global Procurement (DGP)
• Lead on Goods Receipt Invoice Receipt (GRIR) reconciliation and analysis
• Effective communication with Business Partners and recommend process improvement initiatives
• Coordinate the functionality and reporting requirement for UIP with DGP SME
• Responsible to track the progress of UAT & documentation of appropriate controls
• Serves as a liaison with Global Ops Accounting (GOA) project manager
• Lead on Good Receipt Invoice Receipt (GRIR) reconciliation & analysis
• Engage Business Partners/ Finance to resolve reconciling items and aged balances for GRIR & Process changes
• Good working knowledge and demonstrate ability utilizing systems, tools and procedure to accomplish job

Essential Requirements

• Part or fully qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or CPA)
• Minimum 5 years and above relevant working experience
• Sound experience in the financial services sector
• Good Communication, problem solving and presentation skills
• Proven Analytical Skills and Extremely Process Driven

Desirable Requirements

• Previous experience using Infolease or willingness to develop leasing knowledge
• Previous experience working in MNC
• SAP knowledge is an advantage
