This Watford FMCG company are in need of a commercially driven FP&A Analyst to support the strategic decision making across a site whilst producing financial analysis, budgets and forecasts. Working very closely with key operational internal stakeholders you will deliver detailed analysis and strong financial support as well as evaluating and improving the existing processes of the business through partnering with Operations

An established FMCG who are looking to career on their growth and development as a business, but also of their employees. Working from their Site based just outside of Watford the FP&A Analyst will be working alongside a highly driven and progressive team within brilliant working facilities.

Description

The FP&A Analyst will be responsible for:

  • Production of weekly reports and analysis on site and working with the operations team to drive accuracy
  • Compiling financial forecasts and understanding the risks and opportunities within the forecast costs and providing analysis to management
  • Understand, challenge and interrogate cost performance vs. the business plan
  • Ownership of the month end analysis process
  • Business partnering with colleagues on site including the buying team to provide insightful commentary and analysis to assist commercial decisions
  • Ensure accuracy of product costings and timely submission to head office each week
  • Help identify strategic initiatives to reduce costs and improve business performance
  • Reporting on stock, whilst challenging figures to ensure stock losses are minimal
  • Assist with the preparation of the yearly budgets alongside the business owners

Profile

The successful applicant for the Financial Business Partner will be:

  • ACCA or CIMA finalist/Part-Qualified and actively pursuing their qualification
  • Strong Excel ability capable of manipulating data and dieally experience in modelling
  • Experience producing budget models
  • Financial analysis and business partnering with prior operations exposure required
  • A progressive and forward-thinking individual
  • Confident in building relationships with multiple stakeholders in the business
  • Able to make strategic business decisions
  • Proven track record business partnering
  • Experience with system implementation would be advantageous
