General Role

This position is on a 6-month temporary basis under #SGUnited program, assisting the Regional FP&A Analyst on Financial Control on Middle East and Asia South consolidation

1) Budget / Estimate / B+2 / Hard close / Closing:
  • Support the preparation of templates related to each reporting phase
  • Assist in checking subsidiaries working files:
  • sales
  • gross margin,
  • inventories,
  • P&L template,
  • Headcount list,
  • Other...
  • Assist in reconciling and checking financial data between difference systems: Magnitude, TM1, Excel, etc...
  • Assist in Checking Capex declaration in the system O2 vs Magnitude vs excel template

2) Monthly Regional Reporting:

Participate to preparation of monthly regional reporting, in particular:
  • Monthly sales report,
  • Inventory risk indicator
  • Stock report
  • Margin report

3) Ad Hoc Tasks
  • Contribute to Ad Hoc analysis for the Regional CFO


4) Podium/ buying session:
  • Assist in checking and reconciling financial assumptions for podium
  • Assist in checking the post Podium stock equation
  • Assist in reconciling with Merchandising Dpt, to bridge Finance and commercial analysis and forecast

Profile
  • Traineeship is only opened to Singaporeans
  • University Graduate in Finance or background
  • Passion in the luxury retail industry
  • Excellent in Excel and other data analysis tools
  • Attention to details, enjoys analyzing information
