Accounting Traineeship - Global Organisation

Key responsibilities of this role will include: Day to day monitoring and matching of receipts/payments Identifying and advising of corrective action where appropriate, to include posting journals using Agresso (GL Package). Bookkeeping, bank entries and monthly journals using Agresso Preparation of bank reconciliations on a monthly basis Preparation of key balance sheet reconciliations on a quarterly basis Analytical review of period end insurance receivable and payable balances Assisting in preparation of trial balances Assist in the preparation of regulatory returns for relevant tax authorities Ad hoc reporting including co-ordination and collection of information to prepare internal reports Liaise with Credit Control, Treasury Team , Banks , Underwriters and Finance Teams as appropriate Support Syndicate Controller and Finance Manager with Ad Hoc requests and projects as necessary The successful applicant will be trained in all of the above duties and will display the following attributes at interview: A recent accounting/business related degree Ambition to pursue a professional accountancy qualification Some finance related experience, e.g relevant internship Strong computer skills including Excel A high attention to detail Excellent communication skill Self motivated, flexible and enthusiastic approach to work If this sounds like you, please send an up to date version of your cv highlighting the above requirements to Laura Craughwell at Lex Consultancy.
