Financial Accountant

Financial Accountant wanted for a Large Multinational Organisation Company - Kilkenny/Waterford Abrivia are currently recruiting for a Financial Accountant for our client, a Large Multinational Organisation, based in Kilkenny. The role will report directly to the Group Reporting Manager and be responsible for the preparation of monthly consolidated management accounts for the group. The ideal candidate will be a qualified accountant with a minimum of 1 year post qualification experience and have good knowledge of Irish Financial Reporting Standards. Your Role: Prepare monthly group consolidated management accounts for monthly board reporting Prepare consolidated forecast accounts Test new system developments Liaise with key stakeholders to resolve system, process and accounting issues Liaise with external auditors to facilitate their review Your Skills: Qualified Accountant with at least of 1 year PQE Good knowledge of IFRS and SAP/BCS Ability to interact with all levels of staff, including senior stakeholders Highly motivated and comfortable using own initiative Ability to work both individually and as part of a team to prioritise tasks in a demanding environment Strong written, interpersonal and communication skills Word and Excel skills Should this position be of interest to you please forward your CV to Aoife Davis from Abrivia Recruitment at or alternatively call Aoife at 01 5313732.
