Commercial Reporting Analyst

ABOUT US: One of Ireland's largest Plc's are looking for a high-calibre, smart, driven, Big 4 trained Accountant to join their Central Finance team. This role has high visibility across the business and is an opportunity to build a long-term career with a growing business. ABOUT THE ROLE: The successful candidate will form an important part of the Central Finance team. This role will be crucial in delivering high standards of reporting to Senior stakeholders while also developing and introducing process improvements across the business. Key Responsibilities: Seek to introduce process and system improvements required by the business Reporting of budgets, forecasts, variance analysis and analysis of any issues Complete and manage the delivery of monthly and weekly business reports to provide insight into the business Supporting the budgeting process by working with the broad finance team Prepare and present performance reports to the Senior stakeholders Ensure accuracy of data, system upgrades and introduces and changes required Manage the roll out of system initiatives and upgrades in the region to include appropriate system testing Ability to carry out research and assist with senior meeting agendas and professionally present findings Preparation of management reports for decision making purposes and presentations for Senior stakeholder meetings Quote from the Hiring Manager "This is a first class, high profile role across a rapidly growing Plc business. If you are a recently qualified, Big 4 accountant with ambition and drive we'd love to meet with you" ABOUT THE CANDIDATE: Big 4 trained (open to Audit (Industry/FS), Tax, Restructuring, etc.) Qualified Accountant with 0 - 2 years PQE Strong excel skills Knowledge of SAP or an equivalent accounting package is an advantage Highly analytical, well organised and demonstrating strong attention to detail Ability to work well in a fast-paced changing environment, as part of a team and manage and develop other team members Strong inter-personal skills and the ability to deal with Senior stakeholders Manages issues and solutions in a proactive manner Working across all business types, but exclusively within the accounting, finance & tax community, Barden exists to share bespoke advice, guidance and support to accountants along each step of their career journey.
