Financial Trading Analyst (Permanent) Based - Belfast Reporting to - Planning Accountant Roles & Responsibilities: The successful candidate will be expected to: Provide support to the Finance and Trading departments in all areas of margin, supplier income and profitability reporting Be a key player in the forecasting and budgeting processes Complete weekly, periodic and quarterly reporting requirements Be responsible for the production and analysis of key reports for Trading and Finance which are used to monitor and report on all aspects of trading performance and to drive the business. Essential: Qualified accountant or finalist with membership/student membership of a professional accountancy body e.g. CIMA, ACA, ACCA At least 2 years' experience as a Financial Analyst, management accountant or similar role gained in a face paced environment. Previous experience of margin reporting and variance analysis Previous experience of budget/forecasting preparation Strong IT Skills, in particular proficiency in Microsoft Excel and dealing with large data sets Ability to plan and prioritise workloads to agreed deadlines Ability to build strong cross functional relationships Ability to communicate effectively at all levels Ability to work on own initiative
