Job role:
The Senior Accountant position is one of the key positions in OGTech, represents an opportunity that will provide big challenge, with promising chances for growth and personal development.This position is based in Doha, Qatar and candidates must be Arabic speakers and already based in Qatar. The main responsibility is the accounting duties in addition to procurement and admin duties, also reconcile accounts with other branches and provides support to a wider team network. Our multinational client has not only extensive business interests in Qatar, but throughout the Middle East region and globally. As a prospective candidate, you will be able to demonstrate strong regional knowledge and cultural sensitivity awareness of the region. You will be responsible also to handle relationships with governmental institution and suppliers.
- Responsibilities:
Prepare timely and accurate monthly financial reports (including profit and loss, balance sheet, project variance analysis and financial statements for tax purposes)
- Maintain accounting controls by preparing and recommending policies and procedures.
- Document financial transactions and recommends actions to be taken.
- Prepare asset, liability, and capital account entries by compiling and analyzing information.
- Prepare financial reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing account information and trends.
- Handle relationships with governmental institutions.
- Handle procurement cycle.
Control stock management system and record the daily actions.
- Send delivery notes to whom concerned.
- Issue Invoices for customers.
- Collect cash from customers and monitor invoices payment.
- Highlighting key issues and recommending appropriate solutions to the management.
- Support the branch manager in daily work.
- Perform daily administrative tasks.
- Develop and carry out an efficient documentation and filing system.
