Your field of responsibility

Join us as a Data Analytics Specialist for Internal Audit. Within our cutting-edge audit function, you will work with a wide variety of data analytics tools and languages such as SQL, Python, Spark and Tableau to perform impactful audit testing. During the audit life cycle you will work closely with the audit team to advice on, design and plan impactful and feasible data analytics tests based on walkthroughs with the auditee. You will also query required data yourself or coordinate data extraction with IT, implement your audit testing using the data analytics tools and languages you deem appropriate and present your findings to the audit team and – if very impactful – to the auditee and other partners in the bank (e.g. senior management). In short, you will collaborate with technical and non-technical partners of all levels across the bank to deliver impactful data analytics solutions.

Your skills and experience

Do you want to feed your curiosity, analyzing large datasets and databases to support the Internal Audit team in delivering insightful assurance? 

  • Bachelor or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Engineering, Finance or another quantitative field.
  • Strong SQL and proven data analytics skills including mining data, interpreting results, working with statistics, trends, etc.
  • Ability and willingness to adapt to new technologies and languages/frameworks.
  • Business knowledge in banking, finance or accounting.
  • Experience in using data visualization products and technologies (e.g. Tableau).
  • Understanding of the importance of handling risk and quality on data projects and a drive to learn and master new technologies and techniques.
  • Strong interpersonal skills, multi-tasking and time management skills enable you to quickly gain trust and deliver effectively towards deadlines.
