Overview
We are looking for a Group Consolidation/Reporting Lead to join our Global Finance team and shape our group’s Jokr consolidation operations.
Your Responsibilities
Prepare the consolidated annual, quarterly and monthly financial statements of the Group (according to IFRS) and monitor financial audits, (Using Lucanet)
Coordinate with the Finance teams of our international subsidiaries, set up and ensure consistent application of IFRS group accounting policies - with focus on Revenue Recognition, Leases as well as all other IFRS topics
Become the point of contact for regional, external auditors and tax advisors
Manage, coach and mentor junior staff as the team expands
Requirements
Strong knowledge in GAAP, IFRS accounting
+5 years experience in a relevant role (Group Reporting, Finance or Auditing) experience in the big four is an added advantage
Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Business, and/or further education in Finance eg ACCA, CMA,CFA or other relevant accounting certificates
Intercultural awareness and the ability to work in a dynamic matrix organisation
Advanced levels with Microsoft Excel and/or Google Sheets, experience with Enterprise Resource Planning Systems and consolidation softwares.
Fluency in English level required, any additional languages in markets we operate in is a plus
