Interim Financial Accountant

Elevation Accountancy & Finance are delighted to be partnering exclusively with a UK entity of a global FTSE100 Business to recruit a Lead Financial Accountant to cover an 8 month period of additional support required during a period of increased workload. This is a fantastic opportunity offering full or part time hours for the right candidate, with a flexible work environment and a very supportive management team.

Reporting to the regional Head of Finance, this is a fantastic opportunity to get involved with a range of responsibilities and offer support as a As a Financial Accountant you will be responsible for duties including financial accounting, budgeting and forecasting, adhoc analysis and a range of projects. The team are responsible for monthly reporting, however this is a very fluid position and so would suit someone who enjoys variety and who is happy to take a hands on approach to support the team from a technical point of view, knowledgeably deal with queries from the UK business, provide adhoc analysis to a range of stakeholders and lead on projects.

The successful candidate will ideally be a Qualified Accountant (ACA/ACCA) with significant Financial Accounting experience, along with demonstrable management skills and a collaborative approach to work. QBE Accountants are also encouraged to apply if they have relevant experience within a large multinational organisation.

With offices based near Hull, like most of the UK, the finance team are currently working from home for a large proportion of the week, however it is anticipated that this will change over the coming months, and you will be expected to be in the office more frequently. As such, you must be based within a reasonable commute from Hull.
