Assistant Management Accountant

Reporting into the Finance Manager, the Assistant Management Accountant will be responsible for supporting with month end management accounts, producing period and week end reports and supporting junior finance personnel.

Description

The Assistant Management Accountant will be responsible for:

• Assist with the production of monthly management accounts
• Produce weekly flash reports
• Act as a business partner to non financial team members
• Assist with purchase and sales ledgers
• Credit control and debt allocation
• Assist withe the budget and forecast process
• Support with monitoring and analysing costs and budget spend
• Analyse actuals versus previous forecasts
• Assist with payroll on an ad hoc basis
• Support and train junior accountancy team members

Profile

The Assistant Management Accountant will have the following background and experience:

• Be CIMA or ACCA part qualified
• Hold the ability to assist and support other finance team members
• Have assisted with the production of management accounts and month end processes
• Have intermediate Excel (pivots tables and vlookup's)
• Be an effective communicator and a strong team player
