JOB RESPONSIBILITES
  • Must have financial reporting and consolidation background in a multi companies and/or multi countries environment.
  • Responsible for all aspects of financial control and reporting.
  • Responsible for providing financial advice and support to clients and colleagues to enable them to make sound business decisions.
  • Lead Finance Transformation initiatives to meet cost reduction and value improvement goals.
  • Obtain buy-in from operating and finance leaders.
  • Oversee execution of projects necessary to achieve the objective
  • Identify improvement opportunities and refine understanding around the opportunities and potential go forward options. This includes transitioning of finance processes out of business units to consolidate into centers of excellence, as well as investing in areas to enhance business partnering value provided.
  • Support the development of the overall Finance Transformation change management strategy and drive changes in the Finance organization.
  • Prepare and interpret monthly management accounts and annual reports.
  • Implement financial plans.
  • Access and manage risks.
  • Reconcile balance sheets, analyze margins. Oversee the extension of credit to customers.
  • Develop external relationships, for example: solicitors, bankers, Inland Revenue Liaise with auditors to ensure annual monitoring is carried out.
  • Arrange new sources of finance and debt facilities.
  • Keep on top of changes in regulation and legislation and new industry developments.
  • Working with Departments and teams.
  • Arranging new sources of finance for a company's debt facilities.
  • Manage the capital budgeting process, based on constraint analysis and discounted cash flow analysis.
JOB REQUIREMENTS
  • Degree in Accountancy or related professional accounting qualifications such as ACCA, CIMA or CPA.
  • Minimum 3 -4 years relevant experience in related field.
  • Preferably specializing in planning and reporting, corporate finance from large multi-national Companies and/or audit experience in major audit firms.
  • Excellent eye for detail, diligent knowledge of accounting regulations.
  • Capabilities to supervise, manage and lead staff.
  • The ability to identify risks and recommend actions to mitigate these.
  • Ability to build and maintain good working relationships with employees and external contacts.
  • Possess good accounting experience, some tax knowledge desirable.
  • Excellent commercial flair and industry experience.
  • Work is based at Hicom Glenmarie Shah Alam.
