Treasurer @ Charity Supporting Victims of Organised Violence
Our partner works internationally to ensure that victims of organised violence can access the treatment and support they need to overcome the psychological impacts of their experiences and go on to live their lives free from trauma.
They are a young charity, established in 2017, and now experiencing a period of growth. They are continuing to increase the support they can offer; be that through expanding existing service capacity, expanding their geographical reach or introducing new services.
At this important point in their journey, they are now seeking a Treasurer with charity finance experience to join the Board of Trustees. The Treasurer will oversee the financial affairs of the organisation, and report to the Board of Trustees at regular intervals on the financial health of the charity.
There are quarterly Board meetings, with additional meetings scheduled as appropriate up to a maximum of six annually, all held online in the evening. Trustees are also expected to attend occasional training and public or private events, such as fundraising events, strategic planning activities and away days.
Please note that this is a voluntary position and therefore unremunerated.
