EMEA General Ledger Manager

Main responsibilities of the General Ledger Manager:
1. Manage the EMEA & NALA General Ledger Team (lead, motivate, support)
2. Ensure ledgers are closed in time on monthly basis and all accounts are properly reconciled within given time frame
3. Develop plans and manage workload allocation
4. Recommend, drive and implement process improvements
5. Monitor team performance by using the internal KPIs
6. Lead the company´s engagement with both internal and external audit
7. Maintain relationship with EMEA & NALA controllers
8. Participate in the preparation of local statutory accoutns for Zebra EMEA legal entities

REQUIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE 
1. University degree in Finance/Accounting plus ACCA qualification or similar is must
2. Good people management skills, ability to coach and motivate the Team; previous work experience from Shared Services environment is advantage
3. Good communication skills, including excellent English, both written and spoken.   
4. Sound knowledge of accounting principles (USGAAP or IFRS is advantage), ability to understand the differences between US GAAP and local GAAP accounts
5. Ability to prioritize effectively, good problem solving abilities, able to work under pressure and to handle multiple requests simultaneously
6. Strong Excel and Word skills, knowledge of Oracle is advantage

Zebra Technologies employs in Brno more than 400 people from 30+ countries, main functions of the center are in Finance Services, Supply Chain, Order Management, Contract Management, Tech & Customer Support and other business support functions.
