Michael Page are recruiting for a Senior Financial Accountant to join a Public Sector organisation based in Lancashire on a 12 month FTC with the option to work fully from home.
Client Details
The client is a large Public Sector organisation based in Lancashire. They hold an excellent reputation and are offering this role to be home working throughout. They are looking for a Senior Financial Accountant to join an established Finance team on a 12 month contract basis.
Description
As a Senior Financial Accountant, duties will include but are not limited to, ensuring the effective delivery of Treasury Management and Financial Accounting services across the organisation, providing relevant and financial advise to senior stakeholders and budget holders across the organisation, completing of financial accounts, supporting the production of the capital and revenue budgets, preparing statutory accounts, maintaining the fixed asset register, balance sheet accounting, overseeing the financial year end, dealing with queries and other ad hoc duties.
Profile
The successful candidate will:
- Be a Fully Qualified Accountant ESSENTIAL
- Have worked within a local government organisation previously ESSENTIAL
- Have worked with senior stakeholders ESSENTIAL
- Have produced statutory accounts ESSENTIAL
