Audit Manager

Audit & Accounts Senior needed for a growing independent practice based in Birmingham. You will be joining a growing and ambitious team, and will be expected to help train the junior members of staff in Accounts & Audit procedures.

Description

An Audit & Accounts Senior will be required to;

• Plan the production of accounts, ensuring junior staff are utilised efficiently as well as overseeing the completion of audit and accounts on jobs

• Review of completed jobs as requested by the Manager and review of work carried out by other team members

• Liaise with Directors on completed jobs as requested by Managers

• Maintain effective communications with all parties and keep updated on progress or any required adaptations to the original plan

• Take responsibility for answering audit and accounts questions and queries

• Attend marketing and networking events for business development opportunities

• Ensure all junior staff receive on the job training

Profile

The successful candidate will be;

• ACCA/ACA qualified (part qualified with relevant experience will also be considered)
• Good experience in practice, with exposure in both Audit and Accounts
• A confident communicator, someone with excellent organisational skills and an acute eye for detail
• Knowledge of Iris, Sage, Xero, QuickBooks and Excel are essential
