Your New Team: The Finance organization in Cork oversees general accounting, accounts payable, billing, credit and collections, commissions, order administration, and financial planning activities for Europe. The Finance organization has a long track record of promoting employees from within. Your New Role: The Financial Accountant will be responsible for the financial substantiation in terms of reporting, compliance, analysis and KPI monitoring for several key entities in Europe. Your New Key Responsibilities: Delivery of monthly management accounts for respective entities Submission of monthly management accounts to corporate office in accordance within deadlines and with high degree of accuracy. Preparation of statutory accounts in accordance with local filing requirements, working with external auditors. Liaise with outside payroll providers for various European countries. Review and sign off of local VAT filings. Compliance with internal controls. Participation in ad-hoc projects in business intelligence and general business partnering. Your Key background and Skillset: Qualified Accountant 4 + years' finance experience working in a fast paced environment Experience in dealing with the full accounting function of a region and the ability to work to corporate deadlines. Detail-oriented with a very high level of accuracy. Proficiency in Microsoft Office with a strong emphasis on Microsoft Excel.
