Trainee Accountant, South Belfast

MCS Group is proud to be supporting an award winning and recognised care provider as they develop and grow their Finance division. They are recruiting for a Trainee Accountant who will be based in their South Belfast office and will report into the Management Accountant. As Trainee Accountant, you will be responsible for maintaining and preparing monthly journals, and therefore preparing monthly bank, purchase and sales ledger reconciliations. You will also be handling the reconciliation of monthly prepayments, debtors, fixed assets and accruals. There will be opportunities to analyse financial data and be a part of a team that strives for efficiency and opportunities to improve. You will ideally be an Accountancy or Finance graduate with previous experience within a finance function and be passionate about developing your career in finance. Being able to work well with others and build relationships with customers and internal teams will be key to this role.
