This role supports the Group with regard to managing risk across all sites through the provision of expertise and guidance. This is a key Group position. There is flexibility about where this role is based but travel to other sites will be required based around stakeholder support needs and projects.
The Role
This is a stand-alone role with one direct report overseeing the Group GDPR and Compliance Manager. You will lead on risk management and financial controls across the group by working with senior stakeholders to support financial risk and governance activities. You will also be the key liaison regarding insurance and internal audit. Each business in the group maintains a risk register and you will coordinate the Risk Management Group which reviews the sites to prepare a group risk map. As part of the Group Finance Team, you will be required to support and advise on key projects.
The Right Person
As a stand alone role you will need to be a hands on person with an organised approach to coordinate all stakeholder activity. You will be looking to build strong relationships with stakeholders both internally and externally and be able to adapt complex information to your audience. We are also looking for:
* Experience of Senior stakeholder management is essential
* ICAEW/ACCA/CIMA qualified and well versed in Financial Controls and Accounting
* Solution focused approach and able to demonstrate problem solving skills
* Experience of coordination of activities within a Group structure
* Very Practical approach to work, experience of collaborative working
* Experience of a similar role at a senior level
* Experience within Food & Drink is an advantage but is not essential
