SF Recruitment are currently recruiting for a Senior Management Accountant to join a business based in Burton upon Trent on a 6 month contract to start ASAP. This is a fantastic time to join a growing and thriving large turnover business and potential could result in a permanent opportunity. For this role you will ideally have manufacturing experience.
Key responsibilities:
- Assist with Management accounts preparation
- Stock Taking and reporting
- Improve on system processes to help reduce inefficiencies through Report writing and report improvements
- Sales margin reporting on new customers
- Cost centre reporting
- Profit bridges - Monthly, quarterly and annually
- Management Accounting and intercompany reporting
- Revenue recognition accounting
- Annual Budgeting and forecasting preparation
- Support with Internal/External audit requirements
You will ideally be a qualified accountant (CIMA/ ACA/ ACCA or equivalent) with previous hands on commercial accounting experience within a manufacturing or engineering environment. You will have excellent communication skills, and an ability to communicate and build rapport. Please only apply for this role if you are immediately available or available at short notice.
