Your new company
Based in Glasgow (South), our client is recruiting for a Management Accountant to join their team on a permanent basis. The hours of work are Monday - Thursday 8.30pm - 5pm and Friday 8.30am - 3pm. The organisation has on-site parking and is accessible by public transport. The role will be initially based from home and will return to the office when restrictions allow.
Your new role
Reporting to the Finance Manager and working within a team, you will undertake a range of responsibilities. This will include but will not be limited to; the preparation of monthly management accounts, preparing accounts to trial balance, reconciliations and general associated tasks assigned to you by the Finance Manager. You will also be involved in project responsibilities, such as systems implementation of COINS and process improvement duties. Moving forward, you may also deal with escalated issues and project work from the purchase ledger clerk and credit controller.
What you'll need to succeed
You should have proven experience in a similar Management Accountant position. Experience of the construction industry is preferred but not essential. Ideally you will have experience using the system COINS. Proven successful experience of a systems implementation would be highly advantageous.
