The Maritime and Port Authority of Singapore (MPA) was established on 2 February 1996, with the mission to develop Singapore as a premier global hub port and international maritime centre (IMC), and to advance and safeguard Singapore's strategic maritime interests.
MPA is the driving force behind Singapore's port and maritime development, taking on the roles of Port Authority, Port Regulator, Port Planner, IMC Champion, and National Maritime Representative.
MPA partners the industry and other agencies to enhance safety, security and environmental protection in our port waters, facilitate port operations and growth, expand the cluster of maritime ancillary services, and promote maritime R&D and manpower development.
Reporting to the Enterprise Systems Development Department under Information Technology (IT) Division, candidate will assist in the onboarding of SAP to new system within timeline.
Roles & Responsibilities
1. Work with the teams from Finance and IT on all interface requirements between the existing SAP system and new system
2. Work with the IT Project Leads of the various sub-systems on the changes to the interfaces to SAP system
3. Ensure all interface requirements between the existing SAP system, sub-systems are properly implemented with new system
4. Develop the test plan and test scenarios for all interfaces
5. Ensure all testing of interfaces are carried out successfully
Requirements
1. Good knowledge in Financial systems
2. Strong attention to details
3. Good verbal and written communication skills
4. Proficient in IT and Microsoft Office applications
5. Able to work independently and in a team
