Autumn is seeking a Finance Analyst who can work closely with all stakeholders to support Autumn's ability to finance and deliver continuous improvements to our end users.

About SC Ventures
SC Ventures ("SCV") was established in 2018 with the purpose of "Rewiring the DNA in Banking" by bringing three distinct areas together:
The eXellerator Lab, enabling innovation at large in the Bank by supporting intrapreneurs and their ideas, collaborating with fintech's through the SCV Fintech Bridge and engaging with clients and co-creation ideas
The Investment Fund ("Fund"), tasked to acquire minority stakes in fintech companies ("fintechs") whose technology has been successfully validated in the Group
Venture building, with the objective of exploring new business models ("ventures"), in the way it engages existing new customers and markets.
There are c.65 team members (excluding individual ventures), including dedicated colleagues from the Group's support functions, based in Singapore, Hong Kong, Shanghai, Nairobi, London and San Francisco.
Key responsibilities:
- Maintain, update, and improve Autumn's financial model and projections for reporting on a regular basis
- Regularly conduct research on forecasting expenses to better predict cash flow requirements ahead of planning cycles
- Collaborate with cross-department stakeholders on allocation and tracking of budgets towards the achievement of company objectives
- Regularly build and revise models in anticipation of various scenarios to improve the robustness of Autumn's financial plans and risk management
- Support in fund-raising efforts, pitches, building business cases, and valuation work
- Work together with external accounting counterparts on reconciliation of day-to-day expenses and holdings to Autumn's internal financials
- Monthly and quarterly financial updates and visually coherent reports (in .xls, .doc, and .ppt formats) to the Board
- Liaise with both internal and external stakeholders on ad-hoc queries, covering areas including financial projections, actuals, tax, audit, and valuation
What we're looking for:
- Maturity, humility and a willingness to learn and grow together with Autumn - the team and the app
- Experience across different functions in Finance, which may include: financial modelling, management accounting/financial planning and analysis, valuation, treasury, audit, tax, accounting
- Certifications in Accounting/Finance (CA/CPA or equivalents would be advantageous)
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, and familiarity with accounting tools (e.g. Xero)
- Understanding of the differences between finance planning for a start-up/fintech vs traditional outfits, and the ability to flexibly adapt existing techniques to cater to Autumn's needs
- Innovative approach to problem-solving while maintaining a keen eye on risk management
- Attention to detail
- Measured approach towards managing feedback, across internal stakeholders, external users, and partners
