Business Analyst - Advice Product

Join our Advice Product team as a Business Analyst and help us support the advice product and technologies for our Private Bank.

This role is a great opportunity for you to gain exposure across the broader advice product team, analyse new systems and get an in-depth insight into the advice lifecycle. You will have expertise and experience in financial services, specifically with a background in advice technologies, and enjoy working within a fast paced, agile organisation, to meet the everchanging needs of the advice industry.

The Advice Product domain is an exciting and critical area of the Private Bank. There is an opportunity for you to shape the future of Private Bank technology and processes across multiple functions, teams, and stakeholders.

Your key responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
  • analysing systems across a mix of tactical and strategic assignments
  • effectively translating and communicating industry and business requirements to a varying array of stakeholders
  • articulating requirements, including writing of user stories and validate acceptance criteria for features with clear definitions of ready and done
  • facilitating feature refinement activities across multiple teams to ensure there is alignment
  • participating in testing activities, providing guidance to the scrum team on user behaviour to drive development outcomes and customer experience
  • focussing on HCD and delivery quality practices to ensure that stakeholders and teams are aligned with key activities throughout the end-to-end lifecycle
  • supporting the team in maintaining and continuously improving the stability of the platform(s) and delivering exceptional support in responding to client requests and issues.

About you

To be successful in this role you will:
  • have strong analytical skills and an agile mindset to drive data driven decisions, continuously improve and deliver business value
  • be a strong communicator to effectively translate and communicate industry and business requirements to a range of stakeholders
  • be process driven with high attention to detail and accuracy
  • possess a willingness to learn and expand your knowledge across wealth products and the technology that support the platform
  • have prior experience with systems such as Xplan and Salesforce, would be highly desirable
  • have knowledge and experience in the advice technology space (highly beneficial).
