Finance Manager
Mater Mental Health Centre, Waratah


As the Finance Manager for Mental Health Services, you will provide high level and sound financial management advice to enable the effective utilisation of resources. This position works within a small finance team to service Mental Health Inpatient Units, Community teams and other support services across HNELHD. You will be supported in this position by other finance staff to learn specific details of the organisation and will be provided with educational and training opportunities to support your professional development and success in this role.

The successful candidate will possess experience in financial modelling, forecasting and budgeting involving large and complex financial and activity data sets as well as in the provision of management and financial accounting functions to operational managers. You will also have highly developed interpersonal and communications skills with the ability to interact and impart knowledge and information to people at all levels of the organisation. Your ability to work both autonomously and collaboratively within a team environment will be the key to your success in this role.

To be eligible for employment in these roles you must be: an Australian Citizen, or a permanent resident of Australia, or a New Zealand citizen with a current New Zealand Passport, or a citizen of another country with an appropriate visa that allows you to work in Australia.
