Purchase Ledger Manager

A brilliant opportunity for an Accounts Payable Manager. This role is for 3 months and offering up to £50,000 equivalent per hour and is based right in the city centre of Manchester with hybrid working.

Description

Duties will include:

• Managing end to end purchase to pay process
• Leading a small team
• Managing all activities in the accounts payable function
• Ensure all invoices are received and processed in a timely manner
• Maintaining accurate records and control reports
• Managing intercompany journals and accurate month end within timescales
• Manage pay run processes
• Compiling, analysing, and reporting financial information
• Setting and facilitating the achievement of department objectives
• Statement reconciliation
• Building and maintaining relationships with internal and external stakeholders
• Query management

The successful candidate will:

• Have experience in similar role - essential
• Have experience using Microsoft dynamics - desirable
• Be able to effectively communicate across all levels of the business - essential
• Be able to work in a timely manner and meet deadlines - desirable
• Have excellent planning and problem solving skills - desirable
• Be able to work well in a fast paced and pressured environment - essential
