You will analyse and interpret data, reporting on business margins, cost efficiency's as well as offer support with future acquisitions and projects. Description

They key responsibilities of the Finance Analyst include:

  • Producing meaningful insight and analysis on monthly operational reports & KPI's
  • Weekly and monthly business trend analysis
  • Supporting with pivotal business projects, including future acquisitions, stock movements and investments
  • Producing reports on business trends and stock margin analysis
  • Assisting with ongoing marketing strategies to support slow moving or high margin stock
  • Business partner with various departments to support with ad-hoc analysis or reporting initiatives
  • Ad-hoc assistance to operational finance team where required

Profile

The successful Finance Analyst will have:

  • A recent and relevant degree 2:1 or above
  • Studying or desire to study further finance qualifications ACCA/CIMA/ACA
  • Very high attention to detail and knowledge of Excel
  • Capable understanding relevant data and confidence to communicate with non-financial personnel
  • Accuracy and attention to detail, organisational skills and ability to work to tight timescales are critical attributes
  • Demonstrating an ethic of delivering high performance through hard work, commitment and team-work
  • Flexibility to cover other department tasks or assist as required
