Job Description Finance Chief Data Office is a newly formed team to establish the data governance framework across Finance. The team partners with the Data Strategy and Digital groups to execute the data disciplines. We support data consumers to drive data quality across Finance functions, including accounting, regulatory and financial reporting, CFO teams and corporate treasury. We aim to provide transparency of our data asset and actively manage the asset to contribute to the fulfilment of regulatory requirements and creation of operational efficiency. The CDO function plays a critical role in the transformation of the organization by connecting data, technology, processes and controls.

Providing end to end Business Intelligence and reporting processes solutions across Finance is one of the core capabilities of the Finance CDO team. We are looking for an Alteryx Solution Specialist with experience in providing end to end data and BI solutions. The Alteryx solution specialist is a critical role in providing process automation across Finance. The role will be a key solution specialist across multiple projects working with Business Teams in understanding processes, gathering and analyzing business requirements, and developing the appropriate Alteryx and Business Intelligence solutions. This position will play a key role in accomplishing end to end automation of Finance processes, saving significant manual efforts and contributing to the digitization of Finance function.

Key Responsibilities.

    Design and develop Alteryx workflows to achieve data acquisition/extraction, data blending and data preparation. Prepare technical specifications and documentation for Alteryx workflows.Translate business logic from one system (Excel, SQL, etc) into Alteryx in a quick and accurate manner.Ensure application stability and performance by monitoring existing workflows to ensure they are working correctly and that they reconcile with the source.Works in partnership with stakeholders concerning the accuracy of data and efficiency of processes.Connecting to data sources, importing data and transforming data for Business Intelligence.Perform end to end Data validation to maintain accuracy of data setsLead discussions with business partners to identify functional requirements resulting in data acquisition for BI applications.Develop re-useable processes that can be leveraged and standardized for multiple instancesUnderstand the existing source system data models.Provide ad-hoc data analysis and support to business functions.
Qualifications
    Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Management Information Systems, Informatics or similar analytical fieldMinimum 2 years of related experience with Alteryx.7+ Years of relevant ETL and/or BI experience
Skills & Experience

    Advanced knowledge of self-service analytic/ETL tools, specifically Alteryx DesignerStrong analytical, problem solving, and troubleshooting abilitiesAbility to follow detailed procedures and ensure accuracy in documentation and dataAdvanced skills with Microsoft Office Suite with emphasis on ExcelAbility to effectively prioritize and execute tasksAdvanced knowledge of SQL, database technologies and data warehouse design philosophiesAbility to gather and document business requirements.
