Our client is looking for a qualified Financial Accountant to support in their dynamic finance environment on a 12-month fixed term contract.

Our client is looking for a qualified Financial Accountant to support in their dynamic finance environment on a 12-month fixed term contract.
The successful Financial Accountant would hold an ACA qualification and be able to show relevant experience with the below Financial Accountant duties:
Your key responsibilities will include:
- Assisting in the preparation and review of quarterly and annual consolidated financial accounts
- Review and prepare monthly consolidation of group accounts
- Prepare and produce budget and forecast processes for certain subsidiaries
- Assisting in the preparation and review of commentaries, graphs and ratios on the quarterly group consolidated accounts.
- Assisting in the preparation and review of statutory accounts for some centrally maintained companies.
- Assist in final review of locally prepared statutory accounts
- Monthly review of balance sheet account reconciliations including intercompany accounts.
- Reconciliation of local financial systems to groupwide
- Liaise with auditors
- Ensure compliance with group directives and procedures on financial matters.
- Providing support to the Regional / Group Financial Accountant on ad hoc tasks as required.
Candidate Specification
To be successful in this role, you should have the following qualifications, skills and experience:
- An ACA qualified accountant
- Up to date with technical standards applicable for US GAAP
- Have exposure within multi-currency consolidations and large group structures
- Must be a good communicator (both written and verbal) and confident in dealing with senior management.
- Strong Excel skills to an advanced level
