My client is a large charity who are seeking a Transactional Supervisor to join their team initially on a temporary basis, with the view of the role going permanent for the right candidate. The role is based in South West London and are looking for immediately available candidates.

Our client is a large charity who specialise in helping vulnerable individuals with disease as well as the prevention of. Based in South London, the organisation is seeking an immediately available Transactions Supervisor to join their team - initially on a temporary basis with the view of the role to go permanent.
Description
The key responsibilities:
- Responsible for the day-to-day operations of the financial accounting system
- Full responsibility for Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Treasury and Cashbook functions
- Month-end processing including accruals and prepayments
- Prepare and/or authorise reconciliations including Petty Cash and Bank Accounts
- Submitting and processing BACS payments and returns
- Checking and authorising multiple currency payment runs
- Dealing with customer and supplier queries
- Other Ad-Hoc duties as required to facilitate smooth processes during busy period
Profile
The successful candidate will have:
- Newly qualified ACCA, AAT or qualified by experience
- Previous use of an advanced Microsoft Office Software package
- Working knowledge of Microsoft GP (Great Planes)
- Experience in people management
- Be a strong people manager
- Have an enthusiastic approach to work
- Have excellent organisation, communication and management skills
