The Learning Advisor Sr Analyst is a seasoned professional role. Applies in-depth disciplinary knowledge, contributing to the development of new techniques and the improvement of processes and work-flow for the area or function. Integrates subject matter and industry expertise within a defined area. Requires in-depth understanding of how areas collectively integrate within the sub-function as well as coordinate and contribute to the objectives of the function and overall business. Evaluates moderately complex and variable issues with substantial potential impact, where development of an approach/taking of an action involves weighing various alternatives and balancing potentially conflicting situations using multiple sources of information. Requires good analytical skills in order to filter, prioritize and validate potentially complex and dynamic material from multiple sources. Strong communication and diplomacy skills are required. Regularly assumes informal/formal leadership role within teams. Involved in coaching and training of new recruits Significant impact in terms of project size, geography, etc. by influencing decisions through advice, counsel and/or facilitating services to others in area of specialization. Work and performance of all teams in the area are directly affected by the performance of the individual.

Responsibilities:
  • Understands relevant business and HR priorities and opportunities for capability building, performance improvement, cultural development, and overall impact within their region/product/function
  • In partnership with other Learning Advisors, provides management and consulting to Human Resource and business partners and proactively identifies and prioritizes the L&D opportunities to support successful business outcomes.
  • Helps execute learning and development strategy for their region/product/function
  • Conducts the analysis of current versus future state gaps, identifies root causes, determines the appropriate solution and how success should be measured
  • Helps to market, evaluate and communicate the impact of initiatives with HR / Business partners
  • Monitors and communicates progress with other learning colleagues as well as HR / Business partners and navigates any variation in expectations with them
  • Collaborates with colleagues across HR to provide integrated experience for region/product/function partners
  • In partnership with other learning advisors, Implements the strategy for consistently measuring the effectiveness of training
  • Stays abreast to latest external market trends and anticipates their impact on future capability requirements for their region/product/function
  • Is responsible for learning budget for their specific projects / areas of focus
  • Appropriately assess risk when business decisions are made, demonstrating particular consideration for the firm's reputation and safeguarding Citigroup, its clients and assets, by driving compliance with applicable laws, rules and regulations, adhering to Policy, applying sound ethical judgment regarding personal behavior, conduct and business practices, and escalating, managing and reporting control issues with transparency.


Qualifications:
  • 5-8 years of experience in Learning and Development
  • Proven influencing and relationship management skills
  • Proactive leadership and motivational skills
  • Consistently demonstrates clear and concise written and verbal communication skills
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office with an emphasis on MS Excel & Powerpoint
  • Self-motivated and detail oriented


Education:
  • Bachelor's/University degree or equivalent experience


Key Responsibilities:
  • Leads and embeds aspects of the IA onboarding program, including continual assessment of existing processes and content of program and analysis of gaps.
  • Delivers and facilitates parts of the IA onboarding training in the full range of formats (e-learn, virtual and/or in-person).
  • Recommends and implements process improvements to automate processes and tracking of progress, implementing a structured approach to following up completions and evaluating onboarding and learning activities.
  • Develops the plan for onboarding and all related MI, including tracking, assignment and logistics for virtual events.
  • Partners with other IA Learning Advisors to implement training programs employing blended instructional technology and solutions using practical application technique and interactivity to ensure maximum engagement and embedding of learning.
  • Works with the Learning Advisor Lead on ensuring the onboarding program is accredited by the Global IIA.
  • Continuously updates and enhances existing elements within the onboarding, ensuring everything stays up to date.
  • Key contact and manager of the Degreed, Collaborate and Nomadic platforms relating to the onboarding content, ensuring regular updates are made to keep things updated.
  • Attend regular meetings with internal peers across all onboarding areas, sharing and continuously evaluating, to ensure changes are incorporated as needed, to run a 'best in class' program.

Note that there may be additional programs added over time, based on the needs of the global IA team and any changing and/or additional priorities.

Qualification and Competencies
  • Highly organized, self-disciplined and able to work independently to drive action.
  • Highly adaptable to changing priorities and ambiguity.
  • Passionate about Learning and Development.
  • Experience working in a global, matrixed environment; sensitive to cultural differences.
  • Ideally qualified at Bachelors level and/or with a HR or L&D related qualification.
  • Strong critical analysis/feedback skills.
  • Ability to articulate concepts simply and in an engaging format.
  • Strong global stakeholder engagement skills.
  • Strong ppt.skills, experience in developing online training is highly desirable.
  • Ability to work well under time pressure.
  • Highly desirable to have an instructional design background.
  • Desirable to have experience of working with Digital Learning software/platforms such as Articulate, Brainshark, Captivate, Adobe Connect and Zoom.
  • Strong Excel skills and ability to work with a third party to drive accurate and insightful reporting.
  • Proven track record in using/implementing MI to drive action.
  • Strong project management and organization skills with high attention to detail.
