Job Description
A leading FMCG Organisation who have some of the most well known and loved brands on our supermarket shelves, are currently recruiting for an ambitious Senior Commercial Finance Analyst to business partner one of most important functions in the business. You will work with a great line manager who is very focussed on career progression for his team, a recent example is someone taking the step up within 6 months of joining to a Commercial Finance Manager!
Expectations of the Senior Commercial Finance Analyst:
Build strong relationships with the commercial and operational teams, both in Head Office and on-site in our Distribution centres, to embed better stock behaviours & drive a greater understanding of stock movements Create new and develop existing weekly & periodic reporting, joining large data sets from multiple sources/systems in differing formats, allowing for better stock decision making Deep-dive operational process issues to improve financial control and reduce the amount of manual adjustments needed from the accounting team Assist in the stock month end process and ensure accurate monthly stock reconciliations Improve, reduce and eliminate where feasible manual accounting processes through automation whilst ensuring we maintain appropriate levels of control
Skills and experience of the Senior Commercial Finance Analyst:
Newly Qualified through to 2 years PQE - CIMA, ACA, ACCA Strong communication and influencing skills Strong academics Experience manipulating large volumes of data from a variety of sources (i.e. not just in Excel) Highly numerate and analytical with a keen eye for detail that is deadline focused and goal oriented Enthusiastic to learn and challenge the status-quo Drive to improve processes whilst maintaining high levels of controllership Excellent communication skills and able to build relationships with key stakeholders, both internal & external to the business
Salary: £50-55k
