Job Description
We are a multibillion-dollar specialist Aerospace and Defence company who have been providing the Ministries of Defence, integrators and manufacturers with specialist inertial sensing and avionics systems for over 60 years.
We are looking to recruit a Part Qualified Accountant to join our team on a permanent basis.
The role provides the opportunity to work with diverse cross-functional and cross-border teams within the organisation, providing financial insight and guidance in support of business decisions to achieve stated objectives, whilst ensuring adherence to policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.
Primary responsibilities:
Complete balance sheet reconciliations for number of our business' entities. Completion of monthly and quarterly VAT returns for a number of EuMEA entities. Develops relationships with external financial consultants and advisors to support the external audits and tax compliance for various entities within the group and ensure these are completed in a timely manner. Provide cover and support for the wider Accounting team as required. Ensures all financial transactions are in accordance with GAAP and statutory requirements as well as being compliant with internal controls, processes and procedures. Supports internal audits, to ensure compliance and timely completion.
Skills and experience: Strong demonstrable finance background (PART ACCA, CIMA, AAT or equivalent) Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office (e.g. Excel, PowerPoint) Knowledge of SAP
Package:
Salary flexible dependant on seniority level We offer a range of Flexible working hours for example Mon to Fri - 37.5 hours, Monday to Friday 09:30 to 15:00 or someone who wanted to work 4 full days and have 1 day off per week. 25 days holiday (Increases with years of service up to 30 days) Private Medical Insurance Private Pension Scheme Income Protection Scheme Life Assurance Flexible Benefits including dental insurance, childcare vouchers, cycle to work scheme, give as you earn scheme, Tastecard, discount card, health screening, eye testing
