Job Description
Dartmouth Partners are exclusively partnered with a global private equity backed business services organisation who are looking for a Financial Controller for their main manufacturing site in the UK. Situated at their offices in Cheshire, the position will report into the CFO.
Role & Responsibilities: Supports the local leadership team to translate business objectives into clearly defined business cases, costs and schedules to support business growth Uses data from a wide range of sources to analyse key themes and identify possible impacts on the business and routes to financial improvement Monitors key performance indicators, highlights trends and variances and recommends actions to improve Plans and delivers financial systems changes and manages the local finance team to meet regulatory reporting and project timelines Prepares and coordinates the completion of various standard and a hoc data and analytics reports Contributes to the formation of divisional finance policy and strategy Communicates the actions needed to implement the divisional finance strategy and business plan within the team Manages and reports on the performance of the manufacturing unit Successfully identifies and engages with senior stakeholders Builds and validates business cases in connection with business initiatives and transformation plans
Candidate Requirements: Qualified Accountant (ACA/ACCA/CIMA or overseas equivalent) Excellent organisational and analytical skills Previous experience working in senior finance role in a manufacturing environment
