About the Position
To ensure we continue to provide the highest standards of care, our Governance Risk & Assurance team is looking for 2 x Assurance & Risk Coordinators to join us on a permanent full-time basis. Based in our Brisbane offices, you will also have the option to work from home part time, as well as traveling to our sites. You will be supported and mentored by your managers and work closely with the Research and Innovation team, the Policy team and Learning and Development team to ensure the ongoing success of our integrated clinical and care governance framework and systems. At Anglicare, we take a proactive approach to risk and assurance, and your day to day work will include:

  • Leading, driving, implementing, and ensuring best practice quality management systems and programs of activity for the Aged Care portfolio to align with Anglicare's best practice evidence-based models, standards, and legislative requirements
  • Support service leaders to develop and implement quality management systems
  • Drive and support the application of risk management principles and practices including risk identification, monitoring, managing, and reporting
  • Drive continuous improvement at the system, process, and cultural level (from compliance to commitment)
  • Proactively identifying opportunities to enhance clinical and care governance to deliver exceptional client outcomes

About YouWe are looking for someone who brings the following:
  • Recent clinical practice with a minimum of 5 years experience in aged care or related field
  • Current AHPRA registration as a Registered Nurse, or Enrolled Nurse
  • Demonstrated experience in implementing best practice quality/risk management systems
  • Experienced with application of integrated risk management frameworks
  • In-depth understanding of aged care policy, legislation, standards, and accreditation - or accreditation and assessment experience in an acute environment
  • Systems and critical thinker with demonstrated analytical skills
  • Track record of delivering systemic continuous improvement
  • Experience with quality/risk/safety information systems (e.g. RiskMan)
  • Credible, engaging communicator and highly effective report writer
