Client Details
As the Assistant Management Accountant you will report into the Senior Management Accountant and be responsible for overseeing the junior members of the team.
A company providing a wide range of services and support in the area working with high volumes of personal and sensitive data. This role is ideal for someone who is used to working in a high volume environment with excellent analysis skills.
Description
Duties will include:
- Assisting with management accounts preparation including month end journals
- Assisting with cash flow reporting and forecasting to management
- Assisting with weekly and monthly reporting
- Maintenance of accruals and prepayments
- Analysis of P&L, budget reports and balance sheet
- Processing and reconciliation of inter-company accounts
- Assisting in the presentation of accounts to management
Profile
As the successful Assistant Management Accountant you will:
- Be AAT Qualified and/or working towards ACCA/ CIMA studies
- Excellent communication, accountancy software and Excel skills
- Previously worked within the public sector or dealt with large volumes of data
