Excellent opportunity has arisen with a leading manufacturing firm based in Poynton due to continued growth and expansion.

Description

The Management Accountant role is a Full time temporary position initially and will require at least 3 days per week in the Poynton office.

Key responsibilities will include:

• Provide monthly management accounts, balance sheet reconciliations, and sundry information as required.
• Accurately and diligently operate the financial policies, procedures and systems of the Company, in particular the general ledger, fixed assets and costing systems, but also develop a working understanding of payables, receivables, cash and payroll modules
• Ensuring accurate stock valuation and management.
• Liaison with the Corporate Team resolving queries and/or discrepancies identified within the ledgers.
• Review and preparation of detailed system reports (e.g. GRN accrual, Invoice accrual, P&L analysis etc) to ensure accuracy and completeness, and to assist in the preparation of accruals, prepayments, Journal preparation, P&L analyses, etc.
• Assist, or prepare, or manage, other information or reports as required such as internal MFC's, Government statistics, SOX compliance, bank, cash and daily treasury matters, CapEx monitoring, intercompany transactions, exchange rates VAT and Intrastats etc
• Prepare external reports for the auditors, tax advisers, HMRC etc as required.
• Work with the Senior team, Corporate Team and Finance Business Partner on development systems and improvement initiatives.

Profile

In Oder to apply for the role you should:

Have previous experience preparing a full set of Management Accounts

Be ACCA/CIMA Part Qualified or Qualified by experience

Any Manufacturing experience preferable

Be able to work 3 days a week in Poynton and be available for a temporary role initially
