Finance Executive (AP & Inventory)

This role requires ability to manage inventory and account payable. Open for fresh auditors that are willing to learn and expand their skills.

Our client is a PLC in the heavy industrial that is looking for talented individual to join their team

Description

Inventory Management
* Reconcile inventory accounts on monthly basis.
* Review of inventory ageing and preparation of action plan for aged inventories.
* Perform monthly inventory provision calculation and posting.
* Perform and review monthly system inventory recalculation result.
* Organize and manage annual stock count exercise
* Review and ensure accuracy of ERP system inventory account mapping

Accounts Payable
* Review and perform monthly trade payables reconciliations
* Review and arrange account payment based on monthly Statement of Account.
* Ensure trade payable payments made matches invoices on timely basis.
* Ensure no long outstanding open purchase orders and purchase order accruals.
* Ensure no long aged outstanding vendor balances.

* Perform any adhoc task as and when required by management

Profile

* Degree in Finance and Accounting
* ACCA, ICAEW, CPA..etc
* At least 2-3 years working experience in accounting
* Well verse with Microsoft Office applications
* Financial data analysis skill
* Team Player
* Proactive and has initiative & follow through
