What you can expect - enriching experiences that will last a lifetime

In Financial Accounting Advisory Services (FAAS) in Frankfurt/Main or Stuttgart you will support our clients concerning all challenges related to the CFO agenda. Based in Stuttgart or Frankfurt, you will be part of the US-Focused Market Group (US-FMG) executing and leading US capital markets and other projects specific to our US-facing clients. Here, you will take on various tasks:

  • Collaborate with the EY FAAS leadership in Germany and Switzerland to develop and execute on strategies for individual clients to satisfy client expectations
  • Interdisciplinary cooperation across service lines and subject matter experts to provide an integrated service delivery model
  • Be responsible for managing and delivering US capital markets and other projects specific to our US-facing clients and contribute to the growth of the FAAS US-Focused Markets Group (US-FMG)
  • Ensure everyone on the team fully understands the client's business needs and expectations to develop client deliverables that are client-focused, clear, accurate and well-presented
  • Engage and develop new opportunities related to new FAAS projects, solutions, and relationships

What you can contribute - skills for shaping the future
  • University degree (preferred in Accounting/Finance), complemented with completed further relevant professional education (e.g., US CPA or German CPA, ACCA, CFA)
  • At least 3 years of experience in audit or consulting with a focus on US GAAP, PCAOB, SOX, SEC, and US capital market transactions
  • Advisory experience with capital markets transactions, such as initial public offerings (IPOs), public debt listings, carve-out transactions and risk management knowledge
  • A proven record of excellence in project leadership as well as the ability to build your relevant internal and external networks in a fast-paced and international environment
  • High degree of fluency in both spoken and written English, German and French are a plus.
