We are looking for a Head of Compliance to be responsible for the leadership, management, and direction of our Compliance Function, ensuring compliance with our legal and regulatory responsibilities. This includes responsibility for the development and maintenance of our Compliance Framework ensuring it is updated for regulatory or legislative changes, clear lines of ownership and responsibility are established, requirements are adhered to, and a system of internal audit is in place to monitor compliance.

The Head of Compliance will act as the primary point of contact for third party agencies where appropriate, with responsibility for assessment for reporting, assessment, and resolution of potential or actual regulatory breaches.

In addition, this role has direct ownership responsibility for GDPR and PCI-DSS compliance regulations, and acts as Chair to the Compliance Forum with direct reporting line responsibility to the Compliance Steering Group.

Our Finance and Corporate Services Team

Battersea's Finance and Corporate Services incorporates a range of functions that support the rest of the organisation. From IT helpdesk and systems support to financial accounting, legacy administration, audit and risk, procurement and maintaining regulatory compliance. These teams work strategically and collaboratively to ensure that Battersea can be here for every dog and cat.
