We are looking for someone to join one of the world's leading data, insights and consulting companies, as a Finance Analyst on a 6 month contract, that may be extended for the right candidate. Responsibilities
  • You will work closely with the Finance Business Partnering team to improve net working capital and assist in management reporting.
  • Supporting the business in the tracking and improvement of net working capital
  • Liaising with Client Service where there are job related queries, providing access to necessary job data
  • Supporting the improvement of cost management on jobs, and Commercial teams to provide challenge on cost efficiencies
  • Collating information and developing insights to aid decision-makers in improving revenue, GM and profitability on domains, customer, jobs, product or OpCo (e.g. utilisation and resource allocation
  • Assisting with the analysis and interpretation of financial trends using standard models and analysis to support strategy, theory, and ideas
  • Co-ordinating between finance and non-finance teams to resolve billing issues
  • Supporting continuous improvement initiatives
  • Ad-Hoc reporting and analysis


Requirements

• 1-2 years' experience in a finance role.

• A developing accountant who is starting studies or is part qualified (AAT/CIMA/ACCA)

• You are honest and trustworthy, understanding your own limitations and always seeking guidance and feedback to develop your skills and competencies.

• You have strong Excel skills.

• You are curious and empathetic, and always want to learn more and understand others' points of view.

• You can balance multiple competing priorities, focusing your attention where it's most needed.

• You have strong communication skills both spoken and written.

• You can confidently articulate and present your own ideas and solutions, as well as guide technical discussions.

• You are a systematic problem-solver, methodically working through possibilities to find a solution.

• Through work or education, you have demonstrated the ability to solve technical, data-driven problems.

• Your open attitude encourages team members to approach you when they have a problem you can help them solve.
